Digital Artist Makes Announcement

This is the my big news……

As a digital artist, I am thrilled to announce that it is now official and in February next year (2016), I will be having an exhibition of my work at Maidstone Museum in the Cafe Gallery.

I accidentally found this link while I was surfing the web, so thought the time is now right to announce it. I hope you will share in my excitement and that you will pop along to have a look at my work.

“Catching Rainbows – A digital Metamorphosis”

will be open to the public from 2 – 27 February 2016 in the Cafe Gallery. In addition there will also be a ‘Meet the Artist” session on Saturday 13 February (time is still to be confirmed). The exhibition will feature a variety of my work, so will feature something for everybody. There will be a selection of old favourites, as well as some new work on display.

Limited Edition signed prints will be displayed, some of which will be for sale, and prints and wall art will also be available to order.

The Visit Maidstone site says this:

“Imelda is a multi award-winning photographer and a qualified member of the Guild of Professional Photographers. She specialises in “newborn art” and children’s photography, and digital photography.

The exhibition is mainly digital photography. She photographs a variety of subjects, and then applies various post production techniques to create a piece of digital art.”

EVERYONE IS INVITED, SO POP ALONG AND HAVE A LOOK. IF YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE “MEET THE ARTIST’ SESSION, I’D LOVE YOU TO COME AND SAY HI.

I get great satisfaction as a digital artist, and also love doing newborn and children’s portraits.
